Hey, if you're planning on visiting other parts of South-East Asia, do come to Singapore! It's not exactly the most exciting city in the world (in fact, it's one of the smallest) but it's got great cultural diversity as well and plenty of awesome food that's underrated and cost very little. There're also established and interesting hostels catered to backpackers. Plus, the shopping here's pretty good too and though not as cheap as Thailand (in fact, it's way more expensive), the currency is worth less than the US dollar so that's a bonus for you guys I guess. And besides, you'll finally realise that Singapore's not in China!

Hi guys, never fear...I have some links that have resources you can use online:

http://www.1stopthailand.com/

You MUST go to:
Floating Market
The Temple of the Emerald Buddah
Lop Buri
Borsang and Baan Tawai Crafts Center (buddist hand-made umbrellas)
Chiang Mai Elephant Camp
Pha Nga Bay (James Bond island)

And get used to rice...they eat it six times a day in sticky balls you shape with your hand and dip in your food.
