I think what you do is really wonderful. I wish I had found my soulmate also a less demanding job, so I could travel around the world. Just a word of advice though, if you don't mind. It could save you a lot of inconvenience if you discussed your plans with the locals and looked at noticeboards before you start exploring the sites in each place. Both my girlfriend and I are avid travelers that also live in Richmond and one day really want to attempt what you all did. Nothing makes a rainy VA day at work better (or possibly worse!) that reading about the Greek Islands and daydreaming. The euro exchange rate is slightly better now, perhaps euros will only now snack on our dollars......congrats on the upcoming wedding.
