Contact us! Seriously. We are going to get sick of each others’ conversation in approximately yesterday, so please give us someone else to talk to. If you’re planning a trip of your own, perhaps we can help you learn from our mistakes and give international travel advice. If you’re planning a trip of your own AND you’re someone who is really awesome to hang out with, then we should meet up if you’ll be crossing our path! Drinks are on you? Thanks!

    Hey guys,

I just wanted to say a quick ‘hi’ again, and give you these two links my coworker told me about. I don’t know if you are interesting in meeting potential TonTon’s in your future destinations, (or if finding another TonTon type is even possible,) but these sites sounded potentially interesting:

    couchsurfing.com and hospitalityclub.org.

I gather they are both sites where travelers can network and meet up and even find free places to stay. My coworker’s boyfriend is Greek and he offers up his couch for free to any travelers who pass through, although I realize that could be potentially sketchy.

THAT being said, hope all is well and as soon as you can convince Dan we can afford it, I’m so visiting you – wherever in the world you might be. So yes, work on Dan! (or find a way for struggling English grad students to earn a quick buck…) (sigh.)

    Good luck!

I recently stumbled upon your travel blog by chance… or rather, not by chance, but with the help of those geniuses behind Google… and I must say that this is, by far, one of the BEST travel blogs I’ve read in a really, REALLY long time! I admire the both of you for being so adventurous and brave (and perhaps, just a LITTLE crazy) for giving up your life here in order to undertake such a trip, nay, such a journey. AND I love you guys for being overall just totally awesome for documenting your travels in such a witty, funny, AND informative way. I am a LITTLE embarassed to admit this, but I’ve been checking your site pretty regularly, even going back to older entries because I just can’t get enough of you two! THANK YOU for updating as often and as thoroughly as you do!

I’m graduating this May, and have been entertaining the idea of making a trip around the world myself, and was actually thinking about going at it alone. But now that I’ve read some of your adventures, I think it’d be alot more fun (not to mention, SAFER) for me to travel with a companion in tow. Brittany – you’re lucky you managed to convince Ben to go with you! And Ben – you’re lucky you listened to her. This is an adventure of a lifetime, and I am glad you guys decided to share the world with the world. THANKS AGAIN!

Hey there to the both of you. From the photos and the articles I’ve read so far it sounds like you are both having an amazing trip around the world. Your articles are a joy to read

My wife and I are embarking on a trip round the world for a year and have like you left some of the planning out as it could detract from the journey.

There are a number of reasons for us heading out of California for a year like losing our apartment to the 2007 California fires, losing my job to the credit crisis and not having and kids as yet in our life. The time felt right so we set off 8th April 2008.

With cubicle life behind me (at least for now) I feel more free already.

We’re staying in Arkansas at the moment with family so not quite on the real trip as yet, but we are busy trying to figure out our itinery.

From reading some of your articles I already know places to miss and some to ensure we visit. Keep the posts coming..

We’ve started a travel blog ourselves and hope to find the opportunity and free wifi to keep blogging as we travel.

Our blog can be found at http://worldramblers.com

All the best and hapy blogging.

    Brittany,

I was so excited when my mom sent me your website! It is phenomenal! I think it is so absolutely amazing that you are traveling the world! I have been on an assignment in Europe and Asia with my company since December (I had spent plenty of time in Europe before but this was my first chance to explore Asia and the Middle East – I’m loving it!).

Where exactly are you now? I will be heading to our Singapore office on June 24th and will also be in Macau July 3-6 as well as possibly Vietnam or Japan. Any chance our paths will cross? If we were able to coordinate meeting up that would be great.

Email me when you have a chance at erineliz.bailey@gmail.com

    Love,

    Erin

    Hi Ben!
I am missing you! Since you left CC, I’ve been keeping up with your travel blog and living vicariously through you guys (how pathetic).

I have passed your site onto a few friends and co-workers, who have mentioned at one time or another, how much they enjoy visiting your blog. They even talk about you guys like you’re real people…Phhfft, how’d they get that idea…crazy.

Congrats on making it through the gauntlet and back to the US, as weird as it may have felt when you returned to familiar soil.

What have you been up to lately? You should write sometime and let me know if you’ve already popped the question to your beautiful and hilarious girlfriend.

(BTW, not sure who stole what out of your cubicle when you moved upstairs at CC, but it wasn’t ME!) :o P By now, I am sure you have heard what happened there. :o (

  20. Karlaon 11 May 2009 at 2:36 pm

    Hey guys…

Stumbled on your website today. My husband and I are beginning a trip similar to yours… travelling around the world for the next couple of years.

Check out our blog at http://www.WhereInTheWorldAREDonAndKarla.blogspot.com. We are not the great writers you are, but you can get an idea of what we’ve been up to.

What we do have in common is our love for EATING. We’ll go anywhere (and sometimes many, many miles) for good food. Check out our trip earlier this year to Portugal and Spain.

Our decision to travel for a couple of years took some time to make. Not sure why it took us so long… we’re not tied to any particular spot because of our work – we can work anywhere – I think it took us so long because we’ve been “socialized” to think that we have to live in one place. You know… the old thinking of the “Smiths from Long Island,” or the “Tate-Longhorns from Dallas.”

    Anyway… keep having FUN!

    All the best,
    Don and Karla

    Hi

Hope you are doing fine. Am a regular reader of your blog and am interested in promoting my hotel on your blog. It’s a top 5 star luxury hotel in Bali (Indonesia) named as “Damai Lovina Villas”. Bali is known for being the most popular tourist place all over the world.

Few bloggers have written about Damai but we are looking for more coverage this season. Damai resort is a beautiful hotel for people where they can find utmost peace and serenity. You can find complete information about the hotel on http://www.damai.com.

Would be great if you can mention it on your blog in the form of a short post. Let me know what you think of it.

Waiting keenly to see Damai resort on your blog.

    HI,
My husband (Brithsh) and I (American) live in a cave house in Galera, Granada Spain about 70 miles northeast of Granada. The cave house is a wonderful contraption dug into the side of a mountain and made up of curved walls that crumble in all the time! The best part is that they retain a constant temperature in both summer and winter.
Glad you had such a good time in Spain; it’s a magnificent country with friendly people and the most amazing architecture anywhere in Europe.
    Long may you travel.

Hi! I’m a total stranger who found a comment you left on some other website about ride sharing in Europe, but I was intrigued by the name “euros at my dollars,” at the end of your post (because a little voice in my head responded “SERIOUSLY!”), so I came here and WOW! What a goldmine you guys have here! I’m planning a trip to europe this spring (and it has to be cheap cheap cheap) and your advice about how to travel through some of these countries is absolutely priceless. Especially the pieces about Italy.
    Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

I hope you guys are having fun, wherever you are. Live the dream of traveling with no money! It is helping to inspire me. Please keep this website up!

Also, if you have any advice about Turkey and feel like spreading it around, I’d love to hear it…

So I just read your page on Santorini and I’m a little taken back by it. I am 27 and from New York. I have been working at the Volcan winery for the past 2 months.
It seems that your problem was your guide book. You had a bad time due to poor planning. Who goes out in a foreign country, especially Greece, with less than 5 Euro per person?
The Volcan Winery is close to many things, actually nothing in Santorini is very far. the Island is just a few miles long and a couple wide.
You seem to have a very bad attitude about every encounter that you had there, even the black sand at legendary Kamari beach, which is consistently named one of the best beaches in the world.
I have worked in hospitality my entire life and maybe you should look at the situation from the other people’s eyes. I work at the museum currently and the price is 7 Euro per person and I have yet to see one person not have an amazing experience and who weren’t happy to pay the price.
Maybe you should be a little more prepared next time and stop blaming everyone else for your own problems. Sorry that the book burned you, but is that everyone else’s fault.
It’s Americans like you that give us a bad name in the International scene. I hope that you rethink what you wrote about your Santorini experience.

Reacting and responding will keep your body

When you schedule mobile car service, on the other hand,
the goal is to get your car repaired as if you had taken it to the local car service centre.
The exact parts of the service that it covers will be stipulated by your car manufacturer, as most service providers

Only certified and well trained experts and repair technicians who have years of experience of performing everything
from oil changes to a complete engine overhaul can understand the condition of your car.
