Contact

Contact us! Seriously. We are going to get sick of each others’ conversation in approximately yesterday, so please give us someone else to talk to. If you’re planning a trip of your own, perhaps we can help you learn from our mistakes and give international travel advice. If you’re planning a trip of your own AND you’re someone who is really awesome to hang out with, then we should meet up if you’ll be crossing our path! Drinks are on you? Thanks!

    Hey guys,

I just wanted to say a quick ‘hi’ again, and give you these two links my coworker told me about. I don’t know if you are interesting in meeting potential TonTon’s in your future destinations, (or if finding another TonTon type is even possible,) but these sites sounded potentially interesting:

    couchsurfing.com and hospitalityclub.org.

I gather they are both sites where travelers can network and meet up and even find free places to stay. My coworker’s boyfriend is Greek and he offers up his couch for free to any travelers who pass through, although I realize that could be potentially sketchy.

THAT being said, hope all is well and as soon as you can convince Dan we can afford it, I’m so visiting you - wherever in the world you might be. So yes, work on Dan! (or find a way for struggling English grad students to earn a quick buck…) (sigh.)

    Good luck!

    Brittany & Ben,
I have so enjoyed getting caught up on your blog. What a way to go. I look forward to hearing about Ben getting bonked on New Years. Tucker and I are well and enjoying our new house in Garner with dogs Hyco and Deezel. The photos are fabulous and I look forward to a browse every week. Have a ball.
    Love,

I recently stumbled upon your travel blog by chance… or rather, not by chance, but with the help of those geniuses behind Google… and I must say that this is, by far, one of the BEST travel blogs I’ve read in a really, REALLY long time! I admire the both of you for being so adventurous and brave (and perhaps, just a LITTLE crazy) for giving up your life here in order to undertake such a trip, nay, such a journey. AND I love you guys for being overall just totally awesome for documenting your travels in such a witty, funny, AND informative way. I am a LITTLE embarassed to admit this, but I’ve been checking your site pretty regularly, even going back to older entries because I just can’t get enough of you two! THANK YOU for updating as often and as thoroughly as you do!

I’m graduating this May, and have been entertaining the idea of making a trip around the world myself, and was actually thinking about going at it alone. But now that I’ve read some of your adventures, I think it’d be alot more fun (not to mention, SAFER) for me to travel with a companion in tow. Brittany - you’re lucky you managed to convince Ben to go with you! And Ben - you’re lucky you listened to her. This is an adventure of a lifetime, and I am glad you guys decided to share the world with the world. THANKS AGAIN!

Hey there to the both of you. From the photos and the articles I’ve read so far it sounds like you are both having an amazing trip around the world. Your articles are a joy to read

My wife and I are embarking on a trip round the world for a year and have like you left some of the planning out as it could detract from the journey.

There are a number of reasons for us heading out of California for a year like losing our apartment to the 2007 California fires, losing my job to the credit crisis and not having and kids as yet in our life. The time felt right so we set off 8th April 2008.

With cubicle life behind me (at least for now) I feel more free already.

We’re staying in Arkansas at the moment with family so not quite on the real trip as yet, but we are busy trying to figure out our itinery.

From reading some of your articles I already know places to miss and some to ensure we visit. Keep the posts coming..

We’ve started a travel blog ourselves and hope to find the opportunity and free wifi to keep blogging as we travel.

Our blog can be found at http://worldramblers.com

All the best and hapy blogging.

    Brittany,

I was so excited when my mom sent me your website! It is phenomenal! I think it is so absolutely amazing that you are traveling the world! I have been on an assignment in Europe and Asia with my company since December (I had spent plenty of time in Europe before but this was my first chance to explore Asia and the Middle East - I’m loving it!).

Where exactly are you now? I will be heading to our Singapore office on June 24th and will also be in Macau July 3-6 as well as possibly Vietnam or Japan. Any chance our paths will cross? If we were able to coordinate meeting up that would be great.

Email me when you have a chance at erineliz.bailey@gmail.com

    Love,

    Erin
