I can’t believe I know someone cool enough to do this.
If/when you do get to Thailand, I will be so entirely jealous. I was there for 2 weeks last year and it is heavenly. Please go to Khao Lak and see the tsunami beach, it is both gorgeous and heartbreaking.
Have you considered a trip through Switzerland? We went 2 years ago during late November to see Keith in Geneva. Brad planned a train/hostel trip from Geneva to Lauterbrunnen, Lucerne, Basel, Bern and back. I don’t know where else! And not in that order. It was so incredibly neat and a fun adventure. Kelly could give you the more specific details. I have some doubts about the current Swiss politics of exclusionary parties against immigrants, but it is a gorgeous country and worth visiting! Yes, we all stayed in the same room at hostels, but we made the best of the bunk beds situation with 6 adults. The best hostel and coolest town was Vevey! ( on Lake Geneva near a “castle” we marvelled at!)
The castle is called Chateau de Chillon.
Where in Thailand are you two planning on heading to? Cheers, Alie http://hobosinlovemedia.com
I found your blog through bootsnall.com and I’m so glad to find it! My husband and I are tired of being proper grown-ups with boring, suffocating jobs and are currently saving for a RTW of our own. Thank you so much for sharing the helpexchange website. I had only heard of wwoofs before, and this looks so cool. It’s a chance to really experience the lifestyle, earn your keep, and meet some cool people.
You rule.
Can’t wait to keep reading about all of your travels. Bravo to you for being brave and fun!
no turkey on the list.. ?! what a shame!
I always spent my half an hour to read this weblog’s articles or reviews daily along with a mug of coffee.
